Matlock started in 2018, with the goal of being able to quickly identify which GitHub Libraries (and by extension, the Open Source Libraries) a website was using.
We thought this would be helpful for figuring out how websites worked, so we initially started with a Chrome and Firefox Extension, so that in one-click, people could figure out which GitHub Libraries were being used.
Since then, we've expanded to detecting more technologies. But if you landed here to try and figure out which GitHub Libraries or Open Source Libraries a website is running, Matlock can certainly help you out.
Detecting specific GitHub Libraries
Would you like us to detect a specific GitHub Library? We can do that. Just send us an email with the GitHub Library you want us to detect, and we'll add it to our system.
